The children’s day care facility for Blue Cross Blue Shield requested design services from Reece, Hoopes & Fincher to expand the playground and provide vehicular crash security.
The playground renovation was planned allowing the existing water feature and play equipment to remain as originally built. Incorporated into the playground were outdoor chalkwalls for drawing, a tricycle raceway, structured learning and play areas, a mobility development section and other independent play elements. The renovations are planned to be phased over a three year renovation period.
